This Privacy Policy explains what data the game Catapult Kingz ("the Game", "we", "us")
collects when you play it on the web, iOS, or Android, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run leaderboards, challenges, and improve the Game.
1. No account required
You do not need to create an account, and we do not ask for your email, phone number, real name,
or precise location. You can play without entering any personal information.
2. Information we collect
Display name (optional): a nickname you may type to appear on leaderboards and in
challenges you send to friends. If you don't enter one, you appear as "Unknown". This name is
publicly visible on leaderboards.
Gameplay data: scores, levels reached, number of attempts, timing of runs,
daily-challenge participation, and the random level "seed" of a run.
Anonymous identifiers: a randomly generated player ID and session ID stored on your
device (in browser/app local storage) so we can recognise returning play sessions and measure progression.
These are not linked to your real identity.
Platform & device data: the platform you play on (web, iOS, or Android) and standard
technical/usage data collected by analytics (e.g. device model, app version, approximate region, events
such as starting or finishing a run).
We do not knowingly collect contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or sensitive personal data.
3. How we use the data
To run global and daily leaderboards and friend challenges.
To show you your stats, rank, and achievements.
To understand how the Game is played and to improve balance, performance, and features.
4. Service providers
We use Google Firebase to operate the Game:
Cloud Firestore — stores leaderboard entries and gameplay events.
Google Analytics for Firebase — collects usage and device data and identifiers to
help us understand and improve the Game.
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with the service providers above to run the Game, or where
required by law. When you use the share feature, the score image and text you choose to share are handled by
the app or platform you send them to (e.g. WhatsApp, Instagram).
6. Data retention
Leaderboard and gameplay data is kept as long as needed to operate the Game's competitive features.
You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact).
7. Your choices & rights
You may play without entering a name.
You can request access to or deletion of data associated with your display name or device by emailing us.
Depending on your region (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have additional rights
regarding your personal data.
To request deletion, email us your display name (and platform) and we will remove the matching
leaderboard/gameplay entries.
8. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data,
contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
